Social Media for Elementary Educators

I’m doing a presentation next week for some educators at the elementary school level to introduce them to social media. I would love to include your “Ah ha!” moments, when you realized the value of social media. What made twitter and other social media valuable to you?

I’d also love any other advice or examples that you can provide to help these teachers make the leap into social media.
