What is the first thing that you do when you start researching a potential purchase or new project? I do a Google Search. Google always gives me a pretty good start to my research. Well, what if you could put those first eight sites that Google finds in a LiveBinder to get started? Well, now you can.
Our new Google search feature pops those first eight results into tabs in a binder. Then you can just delete the tabs that you don’t want and add more tabs as you browse.
At LiveBinders we are always trying to figure out ways to make it easier for you to organize information and share it with others. Creating a binder with a Google search is just another way to help you pull together the information you need into one convenient location.
Try it out and see what you think.
What is really fun is building a quick binder for someone else. Next time someone asks you for information on something, build them a quick binder with Google search and send it to them. They will think you spent a great deal of time pulling the information together just for them!
I had a friend ask me, “just what is cloud computing”. I sent him this binder and he was very impressed, he thought I’d spent a lot of time researching it. But in reality, it took me three minutes to build the binder. For laughs I had to add Larry Ellison’s take on cloud computing in the last tab:

This binder is about the green way you can clean the air in your home. Some plants are excellent at cleaning pollution from indoor air. Dr. Bill Wolverton published his research at NASA to find plants that clean the air. These plants absorb toxic chemicals like benzene, formaldehyde, and trichloroethylene which are commonly used in the production of clothing, furniture, mattresses, carpets, plastics and printing. One healthy plant can clean a 100 sq.ft. room of 87% of these contaminants in 24 hours. (try the Rubbert plant or Peace Lily).
Check out his inexpensive, well-illustrated, and extremely practical book – “How to Grow Fresh Air: 50 House Plants that Purify Your Hofme of Office.”
To open the binder, click on the link below. Once the binder is launched, click through the tabs and subtabs in the binder below to view all the different websites that talk about plants and their purification value. Some sites will list plants that you can buy for your home.

Every year we go out to the tree farm and cut our own Christmas tree. It is a beautiful area with a stream running through it and I’ve always hoped that they can sell enough trees to keep it as beautiful as it is.
This year when we took the tree off of the car, we noticed quite a few ladybugs at the base of the stump. We left it outside for a little while for them to find a new home. I love how the ladybugs take care of the aphids in my garden in the spring, so I was hoping they would stick around.
Then we brought the tree in the house and within ten minutes of being in the warm environment, thousands of ladybugs thought it was spring! They were all hiding close in to the trunk, but the warmth of the house brought them out to the branches ready to launch into the warm air! We grabbed the tree and put it outside, but have been chasing ladybugs around the house ever since.
I did some research on the web to try and figure out how to give them a good place to overwinter, but from everything I’m reading, they would prefer to be in the house. It makes me think that putting that tree just outside the door was not a good move. Here are some of the sites I found on Ladybugs:
